ANDARES graduated first cohort of computer literacy class
ANDARES has graduated the first cohort of its computer literacy class. This class has the purpose of introducing the Latinx community in Linn, Benton, and Lincoln Counties to the basics of using computers in daily life. T’his program addresses a key barrier that keeps members of the community from accessing knowledge and resources. These classes will be repeated in summer and fall 2025 and in winter and spring 2026. The program is being implemented in collaboration with ENLACE Cross-cultural Community Development and with the support from a Policy & System Change grant from the Linn Benton Lincoln Health Equity Alliance, Benton Health Department, and a contract with Northwest Oregon Works for workforce benefits navigation.
