A New Graduation at ANDARES: Computer Classes in Newport

In partnership with Arcoiris Cultural and ENLACE Cross-cultural Community Development, we taught a four-session class on using computers in daily life in Newport, Lincoln County. This course aims at eliminating barriers to access workforce and other resources that require navigating the Internet and accessing information online. This is the second group taking this class, after the one we offered in Corvallis, Benton County in April. We plan to take this same class to Lincoln City and to repeat it in Linn, Benton, and Lincoln Counties in Fall 2025, and hopefully in 2026 as well. We are grateful to the support from Northwest Oregon Works, the Linn Benton Lincoln Health Equity Alliance, as well as to our partners at Arcoiris Cultural.
