ANDARES contributed to the Alcohol and Drug Policy Commission Comprehensive Plan

Coordinated by Keiri Lopez, ANDARES contributed to the 2026-2030 Oregon Alcohol and Drug Policy Commission Comprehensive Plan. Our organization took an asset-based approach to elicit from members of the Latine community insights and recommendations on substance use prevention. Expression was facilitated by art and dialogue. One of the major insights that came out of this project was that community-based organizations such as ANDARES has a role to play creating spaces where the community feels safe to express themselves. Our recommendations are reflected in the Comprehensive Plan, which can be found here.
