The Ford Family Foundation Supports ANDARES

We are proud to share the news that the Ford Family Foundation has given ANDARES a grant in the amount of $25,000 to support our leadership and community empowerment work. With this funding, our team led by Keiri Lopez Rosel, will expand its Compartiendo en comunidad/Sharing in Community project in Harrisburg, Linn County. Following an asset-based community development approach, in this project we are developing capacity in youth and adults for action planning and program implementation. The community group is currently planning English classes, financial budgeting and management classes, mobile clinics, and a free farmer’s market. You can learn more about this project here. The support from the Ford Family Foundation complements the generous support we have received this year form the Collins Foundation, the Sprit Mountain Fund, the Oregon Health Authority, the Ford Family Foundation, the Benton Community Foundation, Linn County, Benton County, and IHN-CCO. Our immense gratitude to all these, and others, for the support!
