Sabores del Sur: A Culturally-rooted Culinary Experience for Corvallis

Sabores del Sur is a community-based food cart project in South Corvallis that supports local entrepreneurs in creating and growing their own food businesses. The project grew from the vision of community members who wanted to create more opportunities for small business ownership while also bringing culturally meaningful food and gathering spaces to South Corvallis. Through this work, ANDARES supports the group with administrative assistance, coordination, and connections to resources that can help move the project forward.

Sabores del Sur is about more than creating a place for food carts. It is also about strengthening economic opportunities, supporting entrepreneurship, and recognizing the skills and knowledge that already exist within our communities. By working together to navigate the many steps involved in developing the project, Sabores del Sur is creating a space where local entrepreneurs can build their businesses while contributing to a more connected and vibrant South Corvallis community.
