ANDARES at the Corvallis Museum Día de los Muertos Celebration

ANDARES joined a group of nonprofits at this year’s celebration of the Día de los Muertos at the Corvallis Museum. Our organization was tasked with offering a workshop on how to make flowers for the Día de los muertos ofrenda (or altar), and for creating an ofrenda, which would be displayed at the museum. To complete the tasks, we partnered with the local artisan Cynthia Salgado and with JUPUSA, the action planning group from Harrisburg (Linn County) that we established in 2025 under the leadership of Keiri Lopez Rosel. Both events were a success and highlighted the wealth of traditions and the resilience of this community.
